Systems Metaphor

Our dashboard is like a microscope for public health: at low power it shows the whole country, and as you turn the focus you can zoom down to a state, county, and then individual schools. It is a tool for seeing the big picture first and then narrowing in on the place where action is needed. In the same way a scientist moves from an overview to a focused look, public health leaders can move from broad risk patterns to local decisions.
